DEEP Switzerland –

Bridging Divides, Promoting Understanding and Transforming Conflict

We work with local communities to foster a more peaceful, socially cohesive and ecologically sustainable world.

DEEP Switzerland is dedicated to support the potential of community encounters. Through dialogue and conflict transformation, our community-based projects and research work, we aim to strengthen the social fabric and communication channels of our local as well as global communities to create networks of support. We also strive to create and facilitate spaces of dialogue and conflict transformation through a variety of arts and creative approaches to community conflict and cooperation, including: painting, photography, dance, music, improv-theatre, peace and wilderness education.

Who we are

We are a group of international peace workers living across Switzerland. Our main office is located in Zurich. We are organized as a non-profit association. Currently our core team consists of four coordinators and a growing network of peace workers.

We believe that diversity is our greatest asset! Every person deserves to be appreciated and recognized. To gain new perspective is to broaden our horizon. “Buen Vivir” for us means more than just having a nice living standard. “Buen Vivir” for us means “living well together” in a society where we celebrate our connectedness, support each other and learn from each other every day.
